A David among many Goliaths

In 2014, the 1st FC Heidenheim 1846 was able to commission the original 250 kWp PV plant on the arena's main roof. A newer building addition was fitted with additional PV modules soon after. Today, the output is at 350 kWp. The cooperative thus achieves an electricity yield of around 270,000 kilowatt hours per year and saves 160 tons of CO2.
