Solar-Log™ Reference Plant in Neuendorf, in Switzerland

Nominal Power: 7,762 MWp

Annual Output: 7,23 GWh

Inverter: ABB, Solarmax, Kaco

Monitoring System: 7 Solar-Log 2000

This photovoltaic system is one of the largest roof-mounted systems in Switzerland and is located at the Migros Neuendorf distribution center. It is comprised of 29,737 solar modules which cover an area of 47,679 m2.

Construction of the plant began in 2013 by Tritec AG and Helion Solar AG, and was finalized in its present form in 2016. The 7 subsystems are each separately controlled by a Solar-Log 2000 and monitored in the Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ portal.

In order to visualize the system values, two display panels were installed on the building to show the daily and total yield as well as the CO2 savings. Since 2013, the plant has generated electricity for around 4,000 households / approx. 30 % of the electricity consumption of the distribution center.
