RMA Process

We value your business and your satisfaction is important to us. If the need for a product return does arise, please refer to the following return policy rules and guidelines.


Solar Data Systems, Inc (SDSI) U.S. Return Policy

Returns Covered Under Warranty

  • The warranty terms may differ between product models. For details please see the specific warranty for your product.
  • If your product exhibits signs of a malfunction, you must contact our Support team to verify.
  • Support must have the opportunity to fully troubleshoot the product.
  • If Support cannot correct the problem, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. SDS will not accept any returns without a valid RMA number. Only specific items listed on the RMA will be accepted.
  • All other items will be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
  • All returns are inspected by our Support team upon receipt before a credit is issued.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping charges & restocking fees for products that are not malfunctioning.
  • Instructions for returns will be on the RMA documents.
  • Replacement products may be new, existing stock, or refurbished at our sole discretion.
  • You have 60 calendar days from the date you received it to return an unopened item for a full refund.
  • Only items purchased directly from SDSI can be returned.
  • Products purchased through other retailers, such as distributors, must be returned in accordance with their respective returns policy.
  • Customer must have a return merchandise authorization number (RMA).
  • Returned product must be in new condition with all packaging and accessories enclosed in the exact condition in which they were received.
  • All returns are inspected by our Support team upon receipt before a credit is issued; if the item is determined to have been installed or used in any way full credit will not be given.
  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
  • All returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.
  • Instructions for returns will be on the RMA documents.

Solar Data Systems, Inc (SDSI) International Return Policy

General

  • Products shipping internationally can be sent to a USA-based freight forwarder or an international location.
  • Any replacement unit will only be shipped to a USA-based freight forwarder, regardless of original ship to location or domestic address.
  • No refunds will be given for items that are seized at your local customs office or not delivered, unless returned to us.

Returns Covered Under Warranty

  • We are not responsible for damaged units sent by a USA-based freight forwarder shipped internationally.
  • If your product exhibits signs of a malfunction, you must contact our Support team to verify.
  • Support must have the opportunity to fully troubleshoot the product.
  • If Support cannot correct the problem, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued SDSI will not accept any returns without a valid RMA number. Only specific items listed on the RMA will be accepted.
  • If Support does not have the opportunity to fully troubleshoot, the unit must be sent to our lab, at the customer’s expense, to be diagnosed before a replacement is sent out. If the unit is deemed to be defective, a credit will be issued for reasonable incoming shipping costs.
  • All other items will be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
  • All returns are inspected by our Support team upon receipt before a credit is issued.
  • The customer is responsible for all Shipping, Handling, Taxes, Duties, Tariffs, Quarantine, Warehousing fees and charges for products that are not malfunctioning.

  • The customer has 15 calendar days from the date you received it to return an unopened item for a full refund.
  • Only items purchased directly from SDSI can be returned.
